Sejak menikah, tahun baru selalu menjadi waktu penting bagi saya dan keluarga. Tidak hanya tahun baru itu sendiri, bagi keluarga kami seluruh momen menarik dalam satu tahun harus memiliki memori yang menyenangkan untuk dikenang. Itulah mengapa sebisa mungkin saya dan suami selalu membuat setiap waktu menjadi berharga bagi anak, orang tua, dan kami berdua. Because we are the one who make our own happiness, aren’t we?

Since I’m getting married, the New Year has always been an important time for me and my family. For my family, interesting moments in one year must have a pleasant memory to be remembered. That's why my husband and I always try to make every single time precious for our baby, the elderly, and of course us, as much as possible. We are the one who the make our own happiness, aren’t we?

Merayakan pergantian tahun 2016-2017 ini kami memilih tetap di Jakarta. Suami tidak memungkinkan untuk mengambil cuti panjang di penghujung tahun ini. But hey, Jakarta is a BIG city. Let’s have some fun!

Saya memutuskan untuk merayakan pergantian tahun dengan menyaksikan kembang api Ancol yang belum pernah saya saksikan seumur hidup, meski lahir, tumbuh, dan bekerja di sini. Karena punya anak berusia 1,5 tahun, saya memutuskan untuk mencari penginapan dengan harga ‘waras’ di sekitar Ancol. Pilihan pun jatuh pada Ancol Mansion yang berada sangat dekat dengan pantai Carnaval Ancol, tempat kembang api akan dinyalakan.

I decided celebrate the New Year’s Eve by watching Ancol’s fireworks which I have never seen before, although I was born, grow, and work here. Because I had a 1.5 year old daughter, I decided to look for an affordable lodging nearby. Then I chose Ancol Mansion which is located very close to the Carnaval Beach Ancol, where fireworks will be ignited.

This is my first time, and this place is sooo recommended! Ancol Mansion berada di luar Ancol, tapi sangat dekat dengan Ancol. Dengan harga yang jauh lebih bersahabat, Ancol Mansion dapat menampung lebih banyak orang dalam satu unit karena memiliki ruang keluarga, dapur, dan balkon selain kamar tidur. Yang paling penting, kami sekeluarga dapat melihat kembang api dengan sangat jelas tanpa harus bermacet-macetan, terkena angin laut, atau pusing mengantri keluar karena pulang dari Ancol bersamaan setelah pesta kembang api selesai.

This is my first time, and this place is sooo recommended! Ancol Mansion is located outside Ancol, but very close to Ancol. With an affordable price, Ancol Mansion can accommodate more people in a single unit with its bedroom, living room, kitchen and balcony. Most importantly, our family can see the fireworks very clearly without crowd, exposed by the sea breeze, or dizziness queuing out after the fireworks finished.

You better swim in the morning. The sea breeze is very strong if you swim at noon. My baby couldn't handle it

It's so nice to lay down and enjoy the day by the seaside in the middle of the town

The best parts are…. Kami tetap mendapatkan quality time dengan keluarga, makan malam bersama, tidur-bangun-tidur lagi, dan menyaksikan salah satu pesta kembang api terbaik di Jakarta, gratis!

The best parts are.... We still get quality time with family, have a dinner together, sleeping-awake-back again sleeping if we want to, and watched one of the best fireworks in Jakarta, for free!

Why is Ancol Mansion recommended for NYE?
